VTF protects the full enterprise voice environment, including contact centres, enterprise voice systems, collaboration platforms, carriers, and service providers. We deliver consistent protection across on-prem, cloud, hybrid, and API-based deployments.
This document outlines the steps to onboard your customers to the Spam Blocker, powered by Mutare Voice Traffic Filter.

Tenant Admin Portal
This portal provides access to your tenant and subtenants. The parent tenant is indicated by the SELF pill and the subtenants are shown as separate cards. Each card contains:
- Tenant Name
- Description (if provided)
- Lookup Key icon (if provided)
- Button to access the Tenant Console
From the Tenants page:
- Add new customers/subtenants using the ADD TENANT button
- Edit a tenant by clicking the tenant name
- To deprovision, contact support at help@mutare.com
Tenant Management
From the Edit Tenant page, the following features are available:
- Provide notes regarding the subtenant in the Description field (not visible to customers)
- Configure the Lookup Key for the subtenant
- Used to associate Call Analysis requests
- Acts as an external identifier
- Tenants without a Lookup Key use Tenant ID
- This should be the “custid”, determined via lookup to CallTower database matching called number to Customer ID
- Launch the CONSOLE for subtenant VTF configuration and reporting
- Manage Users for the tenant
Users
Two roles are available:
Tenant Admin
- Can manage tenant and all subtenants
- Has all rights of VTF Admin
- Parent tenant admin automatically gets VTF Admin access for subtenants
VTF Admin
- Can access VTF Console
- Configure VTF settings for the tenant
User Management
Invite a user:
- Enter email address
- User receives an email invitation to assigned role
Role changes:
- To elevate → re-invite and select “Invite as a Tenant Admin”
- To demote → remove user, then re-invite without selecting Tenant Admin
Branding
Configure branding on the Branding page:
- Upload logo
- Select colour
Branding flows to all subtenant VTF Console pages
Onboarding Your Customers
- Provide Purchase Order to Spam Blocker powered by Mutare
- Provision CallTower database with called numbers
- Provision Tenant in Admin Portal
- Add subtenant
- Enter customer “custid” as Lookup Key
- Configure CallTower routing
- Route SIP trunks through VTF Screening Proxy
- Ensure “custid” is configured for all DIDs
- Invite Customer Administrators
- Add user
- Enter email
- Do NOT select Tenant Admin
- Customer receives access link
- Add as many VTF Admins as needed
- Customer Training
- Train VTF Admins as needed
- Console includes guided tours
Deprovisioning
- Contact Spam Blocker powered by Mutare to deprovision tenant
- Stop sending calls for that tenant
- Tenant will be removed from the Tenants page
Usage
Monthly reporting includes:
- Summary report by subtenant
- Detailed CDR for all calls (parent + subtenants)
- Available via SFTP site
