Steps for Migrating Existing Devices

3. DHCP Option

  • Devices connect to Phonism and download configurations, enabling TR-069 management and Ring Ready™ templates.

4. Device Reboots & Applies Initial Config

  • Devices connect back to Phonism for provisioning and apply UCaaS platform settings.

5. Factory Reset

  • Admins can reset devices via the Phonism portal or API.

6. Device Boots & Downloads Clean Config

  • Devices reboot, retrieve DHCP Option 66, and apply all UCaaS platform settings.

7. Device is Live!

  • Fully configured, Ring Ready™, and accessible for calls and other functions.

Onboarding New Devices

New devices follow similar steps but include enhanced setup options for first-time use.
