CallTower, the leader in cloud-based enterprise-class unified communication solutions, has integrated its CallTower Complete for Lync product with its Cisco Voice offering. By combining Microsoft’s Lync 2013 platform with Cisco’s leading voice solution CallTower has unified the communications experience. This solution allows the Lync user to be notified through the desktop application when a call is made to the Cisco phone, display status as busy in the application while the Cisco phone is in use, and use the application to remote dial-out to the Cisco phone.
CallTower Complete for Lync Integrated with Cisco Voice offers users the flexibility to connect and communicate in real-time through a variety of options: voice calling, instant message, and conferencing. On the Lync side CallTower includes features like: desktop application, instant messaging, presence management, PC to PC calls, Outlook calendar and contact integration, mobile client, and conference organizer capabilities. In addition to the Lync features, users can also take advantage of the features of the Cisco Unified Communication solution including: Find-me-Follow-me, speech to text voicemail transcription, exportable call detail, and guaranteed quality of service with CallTower managed circuits.
CallTower offers two types of licenses, Standard and Enterprise for the CallTower Complete for Lync Integrated with Cisco Voice solution. These licenses are designed for customers utilizing the Cisco Unified Call Manager platform for voice services that desire the ability to have Lync features and functionality. Standard users can enjoy Call/Presence syncing and click-to-dial functionality for their Cisco desk phones using the Lync Unified Communications client. Enterprise users will have the same features as the standard license plus conferencing functionality.
